Two production apps for a national sports federation

Problem

A national sports federation needed digital services for its members: a web and mobile services portal, and a companion mobile app used by tens of thousands of people. The consultancy running the project had no senior front-end developer on staff — the front end had to be designed, built and maintained by one person.

Role

Sole front-end developer on both applications, from architecture to store releases, without senior supervision. Alongside the front end: selected back-end contributions in C#/.NET, native build troubleshooting, store publishing and a small pipeline for graphic assets.

Technical choices

Angular 21 + Capacitor 7 in an Nx monorepo — one TypeScript codebase for web and mobile, standalone components and signals.
Generic, reusable filter system built on TypeScript generics, shared across every list view in the portal.
Admin dashboards with PrimeNG and Chart.js.
OIDC sign-in (B2C) — integration of the OpenID Connect authentication flow for members in the portal: redirect flow, token and session handling.
Back-end contributions: REST controllers and services in C#/.NET — including the Meta Data Deletion Callback for Facebook Login compliance (HMAC-SHA256 signed requests).
Firebase push notifications and Admin SDK integration; native build troubleshooting in Xcode and Gradle.
Graphic asset pipeline in Python/Pillow for logos, banners and favicons.

Outcome

Both applications are in production — on the App Store and Google Play — serving tens of thousands of users, maintained end to end by a single developer.

Client name, branding and screenshots are withheld under a confidentiality agreement. I am happy to walk through the work in detail in an interview.
